Privacy
Short version: your document is graded and then discarded. We keep no copy of it. Below is exactly where it goes and what we do keep.
Where your document goes
Your file is opened in your browser: the text is extracted on your device, and only that text is sent for grading. It goes to our Cloudflare Worker and to OpenAI (model gpt-6-luna), which grades it. We keep no copy: the text is not written to logs, databases or file storage, and it is dropped as soon as the grade comes back.
What the AI provider retains
Grading uses OpenAI's API. Under the API terms, your text is not used to train their models. OpenAI may keep it for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring before deleting it.
Cloudflare and the bot check
The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes the request to deliver it. Cloudflare also runs Turnstile, a bot check that runs when you grade; most people never see it.
What we store
- Share records. Only if you click "Share my score": the grade, the criterion scores, the perspective and the date. No document text, no findings. Deleted after one year.
- Aggregate daily counts. Page views, grades run and referrer hosts, per day. No page content, no personal data.
- Rate-limit counters. A hashed IP address to limit grading volume; deleted within 24 hours.
What we never do
No cookies. No ads. No third-party analytics. No email capture, no accounts, no marketing lists. Your document text and the grading output never go anywhere except the grading pipeline described above.
